Terms and conditions
Draft for review. Christo Fourie needs to check this with a legal adviser before 3L Group Consulting relies on it.
Registration: to be added. Questions go to Christo Fourie at christo@3l-groupconsulting.co.za.
The agreement that applies
Work starts when both sides agree in writing. That can be a signed statement of work, a service level agreement, or a written acceptance of a quote.
If that agreement and this page disagree, the agreement wins. This page is not a quote.
Services
The work covers managed IT for SLA clients, server hosting and infrastructure, desktop and end-user support, networking and firewall security, backup and disaster recovery, Microsoft 365 and email security, and web and app development.
Response times for managed IT sit in the service level agreement.
Fees
Fees, expenses and payment dates sit in the written agreement or on the invoice.
Fee terms: to be added. If VAT applies, the invoice shows the VAT number. VAT number: to be added.
What we need from you
You give lawful access to the systems, sites and accounts the work needs, and you name someone who can make decisions.
You keep usernames and passwords confidential, and you tell us when access should be removed.
Confidentiality
Each side keeps the other's non-public information confidential and uses it only for the work.
That duty does not cover information that is already public, or that the law says must be disclosed.
Development work
For websites and applications, the written agreement should say who owns the result and what the client may do with it.
Ownership terms: to be added.
Liability
Nothing here limits a right that South African law does not allow a business to limit.
Liability cap: to be added.
Law
South African law governs this draft. A court in South Africa hears a dispute, unless the written agreement names another process.
